12 years .....

it takes twelve years for 2 separated twins to meet again in a bollywood movie .... coz the 'kumbh ka mela' happens once in every 12 years ....

in a sense, last twelve years have been a long wait for me .... 12 years ago a penatly stroke went way off the target .... it was the end of the italian dream at USA -94 .... i was just 14 yrs old and cud not sleep the whole night after watching my fav player Roberto Baggio missing the biggest shot of his life ... this mit sound stupid but the memory of that day still haunts me ... i am not a great fan of Italian football ... but i was a great fan of Baggio .... today Italy has reached the finals again .... honestly, i never thought that this italian team will make till to the finals on 9th july ... but now that they have done that ... i want them to win .... to erase the memory of 1994 world cup from my mind forever ....

I hardly saw Baggio playing except the 94 world cup ... still, he is my all time fav striker ... for last few years, Zidane has been my fav player ... he is sheer magic ... i would be really happy even if France wins because I think Zizou deserves it ...

If France reaches the finals .... I would be really glad ... coz either Italy would win to finish a job left incomplete 12 yrs ago ... or Zidane would prove that he is the greatest of his generation ...
